Trying to create a garden in the dark is the worst, lol. Lol maybe I am asking too much with this, I can see that House Flipper is set in some kinda American suburbia, but I feel a bit stifled by the four types of gardens in the contest - they're a little limiting. tropical garden plants, Japanese garden plants, English garden plants, desert garden plants (succulents would be great), etc. Maybe if instead of the current categories of plants, they could be.
House flipper garden ideas how to#
Are that many different yet almost identical conifers really necessary? (I never use conifers, I think they are kinda ugly and they're not native to where I'm from so I don't know how to make them look good :P). More variety of plant species, less variety of very similar plants. A creative & beautiful garden doesn't have to be giant! Giant gardens are also not a thing where I live in the inner city, so I'm a bit like.

I think if you give people parameters like this to work within, it can be more fun/creative, and less room would also mean it would be far less time consuming (as it's pretty brutal just mowing all the lawn rn as I'm sure some people would agree). Less room to work with, and variations in ground levels/terrain. Here's some general ideas I have that I think would improve Garden Flipper enormously (for me): There's also way too much space to work with in the garden I think - and having it all super flat is a bit creatively stifling. I've tried to create an Australian garden for my office house, which involves a lot of decorative grass, and plants placed close together - it seems like the plants have been designed to sit further apart. :( I think that I may have a different idea of what looks like a nice garden than the devs do.

Don't get me wrong, I think Garden Flipper is great, but personally I got burnt out & frustrated with it so fast.

I wrote a bit about this in a comment on another post, but I think there's huge room for improvement in the Garden Flipper expansion. I'm pretty happy with my cute house but the garden has been some work. So here's a gallery of my garden and office :) I used the Camping Bungalow house, and tried to design it with a kind of Scandi feel.
